Final

I have mostly used this term as a way to explore different ideas I hadn't thought of before. At first, I had wanted to do a term-long project and make something truly amazing, but by the third week, my mind was too filled with other ideas to want to stick to the one I had planned on doing so I dropped the idea. I wanted to mess around and see what I could make and what ways I could challenge the prompts we were given each week. But as time went on I realized I wasn’t very happy with much of what I did, none of it was “perfect”. I have never actually taken an art class before now so several of the principles we learned, mainly Gestalt, confused me. I wasn’t sure how I could do certain things using only my phone. I felt like I had to create works of art that could rival an art major. But what really helped me to break out of this mindset was seeing other students work and seeing how they were able to do creative things that didn’t have to be astounding or world-changing to be amazing
